For those who like to take in the views, the Llyn Peninsular offers the perfect opportunity to stretch those legs. The Wales Coastal Footpath was formally opened in May 2012. Wales is the first country to have a formal trail right round its coast and you can get onto a stunning stretch right in front of the hotel. For further information go to www.walescoastpath.govb.uk. Great walks do not stop with the coastal path. We also recommend the walks up to great historic Celtic hill forts like Tre'r Ceiri and Garn Fadryn.
If you want to get off the beaten track what better way than on horse back. Local centres offer the unique opportunity to experience the peninsula. We recommend Cilan Riding Centre (tel. (01758)713276 ) and the Llanbedrog Riding Centre (07967331620). But do also check out the Pen Llyn Lusitano Stud & Riding Centre for some stylish horses!
