Food is at the very heart of the Porth Tocyn experience and always has been. Recognised continuously in the pages of the Good Food Guide since 1957, and with two AA rosettes under its belt, dining here is a great and enjoyable experience. Louise Fletcher-Brewer watches over a team of dedicated professional chefs in the kitchen.
Dinner offers a choice of three or two courses with coffee & petits fours from a well thought out and balanced menu which changes every day. The kitchen also will make every effort to cater for those who have particular needs or simpler tastes. In addition we have recently introduced a simpler supper menu to appeal to those residents who may have overdosed on posh nosh as well as families looking for a lighter evening meal option. Guests come together in the intimate bar before dinner for drinks. Diners come in from all around the peninsula especially during the holiday season, and dining here exudes the atmosphere of a dinner party. The dining room is furnished with country antique dining tables and farm house chairs over lovely parquet flooring and has a stunning outlook across the bay to Snowdonia to add to the enjoyment of an evening.
The Food experience does not stop with Dinner. The gargantuan Sunday Lunch Buffet has earned itself a huge notoriety in the area and like mid week light bite lunches offers a great opportunity to dine casually, alfresco at times, grabbing the view or hiding away in one of the hotel’s interconnecting gardens but all the time soaking up the atmosphere surrounding this hotel.
